3. Quotations
We obtain and compare suitable supplier and logistics options.
4. Your approval
We present the proposed purchasing arrangement for your approval before proceeding.
5. Order & payment
The agreed payment structure is completed and the supplier order is placed.
6. Supplier / manufacturer
The goods are prepared for collection or shipment according to the agreed arrangements.
7. Freight & logistics
DPS can coordinate with appropriate freight forwarders and logistics providers.
8. Ghana port
The goods are shipped to the agreed destination port in Ghana.
9. Customer / importer
The customer or their appointed clearing/logistics agent arranges import clearance, collection
and onward delivery where applicable.

Exact responsibilities will depend on the agreed transaction and Incoterm
Freight forwarding
DPS is not a freight forwarder.
Where international shipping is required, we can work with appropriate freight forwarders
and logistics providers to arrange the movement of goods.
Delivery and Incoterms
The agreed Incoterm and delivery point will be confirmed before an order is placed.
Where the agreed delivery point is the destination port, the customer/importer is responsible
for ensuring that customs clearance and collection take place within the applicable time
limits. Delays may result in storage, demurrage or other charges.
