Finding suppliers and preparing a consolidated quotation.
Arranging purchasing, UK receiving, agreed checks and consolidation.
Coordinating shipping documentation and required compliance checks.
Arranging transport to the agreed delivery location and keeping you updated.
Helping resolve supplier queries and delivery issues.
You handle
Providing specifications and approving the quotation.
Approving any substitutions or changes.
Providing importer information and any required permits.
Appointing a Ghana customs broker and paying import duties, taxes and clearance charges.
Receiving and unloading the goods, and reporting any issues promptly.
The delivery location, included services and responsibilities are confirmed in your quotation before you proceed.
Freight forwarding
DPS is not a freight forwarder.
Where international shipping is required, we can work with appropriate freight forwarders
and logistics providers to arrange the movement of goods.
Delivery and Incoterms
The agreed Incoterm and delivery point will be confirmed before an order is placed.
Where the agreed delivery point is the destination port, the customer/importer is responsible
for ensuring that customs clearance and collection take place within the applicable time
limits. Delays may result in storage, demurrage or other charges.
